Cursor
Use AI Nexus models in Cursor through the OpenAI-compatible API.
Cursor connects through the OpenAI-compatible API (/v1/chat/completions), so you can use any model on the model square that supports this endpoint.
Verification status
The settings on this page follow the tool's official documentation and have not all been tested hands-on against AI Nexus. Labels may change between versions; follow what you actually see. Only two values matter: Base URL and API Key.
Setup
-
Open Cursor settings and go to "Models".
-
Enter your API key from AI Nexus (
sk-...) in the OpenAI API Key field. -
Turn on Override OpenAI Base URL and enter:
https://ai.myaiexp.com/v1 -
Click "Add Model", add a model ID from the model square manually, and enable it.
-
Click Verify to check the connection.
Notes
- Model names must exactly match
GET /v1/models; see the model square for the full list. - Some Cursor features (such as certain Agent / Tab completion capabilities) run on Cursor's own service and don't use the base URL you configure. This is a Cursor limitation.
