Cline
Connect AI Nexus in the Cline VS Code extension by choosing OpenAI Compatible.
Cline is a VS Code extension. Choose the OpenAI-compatible provider; you can use any model on the model square that supports /v1/chat/completions.
Verification status
The settings on this page follow the tool's official documentation and have not all been tested hands-on against AI Nexus. Labels may change between versions; follow what you actually see. Only two values matter: Base URL and API Key.
Setup
- Open Cline settings (the gear icon at the top right).
- Set API Provider to
OpenAI Compatible. - Fill in:

| Model ID | your-model-id (replace with a model ID from the model square, or call GET /v1/models) |
- Save, start a new task and send a message to test.
Recommendation
Pick a model that supports function calling (see Function calling); Cline relies on tool calls to read and write files and run commands.
Cursor
Use AI Nexus models in Cursor through the OpenAI-compatible API.
Cherry Studio
Add AI Nexus as a model provider in Cherry Studio and chat with models from the desktop client.
